The pride of Barbados, Rihanna is known for chart-topping songs like SOS from 2006 and Umbrella which is the world's most popular song for 2007.

Born Robyn Rihanna Fenty on February 20, 1988, the multi-talented Rihanna is a fashion designer and model in addition to being one of the world’s most popular singers.

Rihanna often dances in her music videos. Frequently played via the Internet and on television, these videos showcase Rihanna’s beauty, stage presence and compelling dance moves. In turn, this international exposure promotes Rihanna’s songs and increases demand for her live concerts around the globe. However, some critics question whether Rihanna's glamour is too focused on individual hit songs and therefore lacking in album marketing strength.

As of mid-August 2008, the Barbadian beauty has two top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100: the chart-topping Disturbia and the number 4 single Take A Bow.
